Street Fashion Around the World.

The way you dress yourself says a lot about you. Some dress up to be seen a certain way. Some dress up to show professionalism, like for interviews. Some dress up for special occasions. But there are also people out there who dresses up so differently from the rest of the crowd that you can't even tell what and why they're wearing what they are wearing. Nevertheless, since I have a passion for fashion, I find these looks to be very artistic and stylish. Some might say that they're ugly and weird, but I say its a work of art and that it shows a persons individualism. What do you guys think?

1. Japan Street Fashion:
120805-7325 - Japanese street fashion in Harajuku, Tokyo (Spica, UNIQLO, Futatsukukuri, Keisuke Kanda)

120407-9470: Japanese street fashion in Harajuku, Tokyo (Josephine, Né-net, Comme des Garçons, VANS, SUPREME, TISSOT)

110218-8336: Harajuku, Tokyo, Debenhams, SENT ARTHER, BEAMS, Nike

This is actually a look that I can see myself wearing.

Penshoppe

Penshoppe is a popular clothing retailer in my home country, the Philippines. It has gotten so big now that they're bringing in celebrities from the USA to campaign their clothes. I personally like Penshoppe's clothing because their clothes are somewhat similar to clothes that you might find in Forever21 and H&M. I always look forward to going there whenever I go to the Philippines for vacations. But that's like every 4 years:( But anyways, I just wanted to share their recent campaign which features Zac Efron, Leighton♥Meester and Ian Somerhalder. Enjoy:)

My Style

Here are just a few pic I found on lookbook.nu. This is where I find inspirations or ideas of what to look for when I go shopping.

"Dress for Less"

I'm all about shopping for discounted items. It's quite funny cuz whenever I enter a store like for example H&M, I go to the back of the store first where the sale items are and then I make my way up to the front of the store where all the new arrivals are. I am one of those shoppers who knows what they want before they go shopping. So before I shop, I look for a look that I might find in the internet or in a magazine article. I then  try to look for items similar to that shown in the picture and I try to copy the look. But when it comes to buying, I like to buy items at cheap/affordable prices. But who doesn't?!

So here are just a few items I found while shopping at H&M. Enjoy:)
This was $20 when I got it. Original price was I think $59.90

Each item shown above costed me $20 or less.

Shoes!

I love shoes. They're one of my obsessions. I'm more of a dressy shoes type of person though. I'm not so much into sports wear shoes, but I still like them. So here are a few shoes that I found on the Zara and H&M websites. FYI: The two shoes on the right side are from Zara and the left two are from H&M.

Tank Tops - 1st Fashion Post:)

Summer here in Texas is like living in an oven. Literally! At the peak of summer, a temperature of 100 and above is very normal. So in order to go outside and feel a little cooler, I wear tank tops. Tank tops are so in right now. Just got back from a mini vacation in Los Angeles and while I was there, tank tops were the most popular type of clothing that I saw. Anyways, here are just a few tank tops that I found on the Forever21 and H&M website.

New Destinations I want to go to.

I know that I've already made a blog about "My top 10 cities I want to visit before i I die," but I soon realized as I got a little older, the things I liked suddenly changed. Things like my style, in terms of clothing and fashion, have changed and especially the places I want to visit when I get older. I still do want to visit the cities I've listed on my first travel blog, but I guess my wants and likes right now are different from my past likes. Well anyways, here are some of the cities I would like to visit someday.

1. Santorini, Greece

2. London, UK

3. New York City, NY

4. Milan, Italy

5. Paris, France

Fashion and Travel

I know that my blogs are quite random. Therefore, I have decided that I will only blog about fashion and travel from now on. And maybe on special occasions things I find interesting and/or funny.

Las Vegas Is Not Fun For Teenagers!

Las Vegas Blvd

So during our mini vacation to Cali, my family and I decided to go visit Las Vegas for 2 nights. Although I been there before with my aunt's family, I thought since I'm older now (19 yrs. old to be exact) that I would be able to do more things. Unfortunately, I was still too young to do anything. I'm not the party/get high all night type of person, so clubbing was off my list of things I wanted to do while in Vegas. What I did have on my list was to be able to try out some slot machines. Being unaware of the age limit to gamble, I got into some trouble when I was spotted playing with a slot machine in the hotel we stayed in. So I went back to my hotel room and just surfed the internet the rest of the day. BORING:( Since the hotel we stayed in was the most kid friendly hotel in all of Vegas, even my little brother was having more fun than me. I did, however, go to the gym afterwards so that I would be doing something productive. Even though my second time in Vegas was not the best, I still enjoyed site seeing during the night times when the city came to life. So note to self: Vegas is not for teens.

California Vacation!

Having the best time here in California. The weather is just right and the food is quite good as well. In just two days, this is what we've already done: gone fishing and swimming on the Hermosa beach and we also went to the Universal Studios.

It was quite chilly that day but I swam anyways because I don't live near a beach in Dallas, Texas.

"Philippines Deadliest New Years"

New Years is an event that we're suppose celebrate a brand new year and a brand new life. Apparently, New Years in the Philippines also means a way of starting the year injured ,or worst, dead. The 2012 New Years celebration was the deadliest in 20 years with more than 1,000 people being injured. I am not yet sure about how much of these 1,000 people have died because the numbers are still increasing. But anyways, I just wanted to share this because it really makes me ashamed to be a Filipino sometimes when Filipinos does stupid things like this. Filipinos never learn from the past and they just keep doing the same mistake over and over. I don't understand why they can just watch a professionally done fireworks display like the one they have in cities such as Sydney, Hong Kong and London. Where else will you hear the news that people are suffering from injuries because of fireworks? Answer: No where but the Philippines. As a matter of fact, some of the fireworks sold to the public were illegal. They were illegal for a purpose and yet the Filipino completely ignored that fact.
